Climate action and innovation in BC

The map below shows the initiatives that communities in British Columbia are taking to address climate change. Click on (the icon in the top-right corner) to explore the different community climate actions on the left — broad planning; building and lighting; energy generation; green space; transportation; water and sewer, and waste. Check/uncheck the boxes next to these categories to show/hide communities. After checking the categories you would like to explore, click on (the icons over top the communities) to learn more about the local climate action occurring in BC communities. You can navigate the map by clicking/dragging on it to pan and using the buttons in the bottom-left corner to zoom in and out.

Data for this map was retrieved from 2013 reports produced through the Climate Action Revenue Incentive Program (CARIP) run by the Government of British Columbia.
